Terms and Conditions

1. Driver requirements:

Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) national licences are acceptable if drivers are holding a GCC passport. GCC countries are as follows: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Drivers from other countries must have a valid International Driving Permit plus their own national licence. A national or International Driving Permit alone is not acceptable.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher, visit visa.

2. Security Deposit:

Refundable security deposit

255 OMR (~€ 605.00)

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.

The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
The excess/deductible for drivers over the age of 24 varies from 155 OMR to 255 OMR, depending on the car group.

Not accepted:

Someone else’s card (including family members)
Any virtual payment (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc..)
Any prepaid card
Any debit card
Any Diners Club
Any Cash

3. Payment Policy:

This section only concerns payment; a credit card may be required for the security deposit.

Accepted Credit cards with the main driver's full name on them:

Accepted Debit cards with the main driver's full name on them:

Visa Debit

Other accepted methods:

Cash

Not accepted:

Someone else’s card (including family members)

Any Diners Club

Please note: If paying with Debit Card, Cash, a credit card is required for the deposit.

4. Protection:

Included insurance

Collision Damage Waiver
Deductible: ~€ 595.00
You'll have to pay at most the deductible if the car's bodywork is damaged (other parts of the car aren't covered).
Theft Protection
You'll have to pay at most the deductible if the car is stolen.
Roadside Assistance
You'll be able to get help for any mechanical problem you come across on the road.
Third Party Liability (TPL)

Mandatory coverage for injuries and damage you may cause to others while driving the car.

5. Geographical and ferry rules:

Cross-border Travel
You can travel to: United Arab Emirates

You can't travel to countries that aren't listed.

Cross-border fee: 28 OMR (You'll pay when you picking up the car and the price could change - This is only a guide).
Please note:
- You'll have to purchase additional coverage from the lessor.
- You'll need the written permission of the lessor.
Ferry Travel

You can't leave Oman with the car.

6. Rental Conditions:

Rate includes:

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 200 km per day, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 595.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax).

Mileage policy:

Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
Mileage is limited to 200 km per day, with a maximum of 4000 km per rental.

Optional extras and services:

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed:
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance / location.

Fuel policy:

The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Rental period:

The maximum rental period is without limitations.

Business hours:

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
